The Monkey Minds was founded in 2011 after a musical day organized by The Guitar Master (Paul de Zeeuw) and Place4Bass (Alex van Elswijk). After the performance of Ronald, Jan Willem, Jeroen and Rien, it was decided on the spot to make music together. Thijs soon joined the band for the vocals. Jasmijn joined in 2016.  

 

The Monkey Minds play energetic and contemporary pop and rock covers with a smile. The band members are very diverse in terms of music taste. The setlist includes songs from Pink to Stereophonics.
