BLACK MIRRORS makes alternative rock with a good dose of girl power. And how!

With lead singer Marcella Di Troia at the helm, the Brussels rockers know timesconvincing time and time again with their garage rock, as the rave reviews of their latest album testify. BLACK MIRRORS takes the best rock 'n roll has to offer - with influences from Queens of the Stone Age, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix to Royal Blood - and kneads it together into a stunningly good and irresistible whole.

The results are impressive. Vulnerable but powerful, energetic but intimate, rocking, melodic and original. With the new album that was released last fall, 'Tomorrow will be without us', the band shows its critical side: the album explores humanity's apathy towards the world around them, the consumer society as a great manifestation of this.

BLACK MIRRORS makes alternative rock with a good dose of girl power. And how!

Since the formation of the group in 2013, the four-member collective has covered quite a few kilometers, in the most literal sense. The BLACK MIRRORS agenda is overflowing with international gigs… Including Masterfest of course! On Saturday, July 1, the band will shake the Netherlands Three to its foundations. Expect powerful ballads, but also groovy rhythms with nice riffs on which no one can stand still.

REVIEW:

“'Tomorrow Will Be Without Us' is a true time capsule of nostalgia and musical power for fans of '90s punk, grunge and rock that just can't get enough.”
