PACESHIFTERS

alternative rock

This power trio has been on the road for almost fifteen years now.And that can be heard! Paceshifters started as a hobby project of three wayward teenagers in the Overijssel village of Wijhe. The three gentlemen have now far outgrown that status: the band can now count itself among the most wild, explosive and innovative acts from the Dutch and international rock scene.

The Dokman brothers and Jesper Albers see their live spectacles as the core of Paceshifters.

Fans of post-grunge and alternative rock can indulge themselves. Heavy guitars, raw vocals and catchy melodies adorn the band's six-album repertoire. The Dokman brothers and Jesper Albers see their live spectacles as the core of Paceshifters. No wonder then that one of these records is a live album, recorded at one of their legendary shows in Hedon. The latest album, 'Brand New Plan', shows a completely new side of the gentlemen: more dynamic, more mature and socially relevant, but without sacrificing energy.

Paceshifters will blow out 15 candles in 2023. The men can look back on an enormous adventure, with a tour through the United Kingdom, performances at the biggest festivals and stages in Austria, Germany and of course the Netherlands. The gentlemen recently turned the Ziggo Dome upside down as a support act for Kensington. A perfect band for Masterfest if you ask us, where the pits can swirl and the guitars rip free!

REVIEW:

“The album 'Brand New Plan' is a new stage in the band's musical journey. On this album, Paceshifters still prove themselves to be the standard bearer and treasurer of grunge and alternative rock.” -Maxazine
